When Can I? is a legal information handbook for young people in the A.C.T. It provides information about young people's rights and responsibilities on a wide range of issues such as driving, bullying, drugs, alcohol, sex, housing, income support and contact with the police. When Can I? empowers young people to ensure their personal safety and to understand their rights and responsibilities.
The Legal Aid Office (ACT) participates in the ACT Department of Education and Community Services Work Experience Program. Work Experience is part of a school’s educational program where students learn through first-hand experience in working environments outside the school.
